How to choose the perfect veil
Updated: Mar 17, 2020
Choosing the right veil for your dress doesn’t have to be overwhelming! Here are some helpful tips you can use to narrow down the search.
First things first: What would look best with your dress? If you have a lot of beading or embellishment, we suggest something simple to not takeaway from the detail of your dress. If your dress is made from crepe, organza or chiffon, choose something with a little more detail will to add more to your overall look.
I recommend the Rebecca Veil by Untamed Petals.
Venue
Considering the vibe of your venue can help. If you’ll be outdoors, perhaps something a little shorter will work better, as it won’t drag on the ground as much. Or, something a little more ethereal, that will be light and delicate, to compliment the outdoor feel. If you’re in a more formal setting, we suggest choosing a veil that compliments that. This could be hand-beaded or a traditional feel.
I recommend the Gardenia Veil or the Edwin Veil by Untamed Petals.
What is most important
The most important thing about wearing a veil is comfort, confidence, and personal style! If you’ve been waiting for this moment forever and can’t wait to rock a cathedral beaded veil – even though you're getting married in a field – do it! That is what is great about every wedding, it is your special day, and you can choose what you have been dreaming about or what is unique to you! I did! There’s no wrong choice. As long as you love it, that’s what’s most important.
