Starry Montana Elopement | Wedding Coordinator & Florist

There are also plenty of fun and intimate venues that don't have to break the bank of make you feel overwhelmed. From the Bitterroot Valley to Flathead Lake and all of the natural marvels of this area make it a great place for adventure and a little bit of love. It was so fun working with Ashley J Photo to set the mood for this Starry Montana Elopement. We came across the gorgeous dress that our bride is wearing and knew we had to plan a styled shoot with it at the center. Who doesn't love chiffon and hand sown star lace?! The Esther, celestial inspired wedding dress is from Daci Gowns. What we loved about this dress was the way the wind caught it and made for ALL the magic. This dress features silk chiffon that’s rushing down the top and draping on the skirt.  The skirt has 3 layers of silk organza, each layer a different color to mimic the colors of the sky at sunset. Over the organza there is one layer of the stars lace. The dress has a front opening and is super light. It’s a dream to wear it. I could not have wished for a more perfect dress, AH-MAZING!!

We are head over heels in love with color combinations we created for this elopement, starting with the Bridal Bouquet. The soft blush, purple, and blue tones made this bridal bouquet the perfect compliment to the wedding dress. These color combinations are something that are not only fun, but allow couples to show their own style and unique personalities. So many times I have couples afraid to want to add pops of color - and I say GO FOR IT! The best part for me, I grow the blush pink peonies right in my yard in Montana.

Our lovely models, where my husband (Ron) & I. We had been planning for weeks for this Elopement and it ended up being close to our fifth year wedding anniversary. I thought what better way to celebrate than to renew our vowels during the shoot as the bride and groom. What was even better, is that my husband is such a sport, had the hugest grin on his face the whole time. It made my heart burst !

Our reception table was set with the color combo's of the bridal bouquet and we incorporated the natural colors of the area with our tablescape. The additional pops of dusty mauve of the linen table runner and the sky blue napkins from Green Earth Studio brought out the florals and the exact theme we were aiming towards. We’re a huge fan of texture, so when we found the natural wood salad plates at the Vintage Market in Hamilton - we just knew they would add an extra dimension to our table. The elegant pink goblets and gold cutlery from Target added just the little bit of added color we needed to bring it all together.

Can we just talk about the cake for a minute?! It was nothing short of amazing and gorgeous all at the same time. Does it not scream "Starry Night"? The cake was created by Gretchen Knapp, the pastier at Mission Bistro in Stevensville. She not only is a talent in the baking world, but is so sweet and so fun to work with. She was also so excited for the Starry Montana Elopement and could not wait to put together the cake once we told her the vision. She also added the star ad moon shaped cookies to tie together our theme.
